when it comes to this blog and the back end of things.
ha ha – back end.
i’m such a child at heart.
i’ve seen it happen to other awesome bloggers i follow – site down due to maintenance – i have nightmares about this happening. do i have a backup? how often should i backup? should i care? it’s just words. words i never want to forget though.
one day this site is not going to work and i’m not going to know why.
because – i’m just winging it.
are you someone who’s just winging it too? here’s hoping i’m not alone.
what can i say – i’m a creative first and techie second – but i’m learning! google is a wonderful thing.
Okay I’m totally late in discovering this but it’s even more wonderful than you promised!!! Giggling out loud, thank you. We basically have the same picture of cat paw + human hand on keyboard. I think our cats are soul mates. <3
And, well, I never really thought about all my words on my blog disappearing. And now I'm slightly panicked and sad. I've had my blog for almost 6 years (six!!! how am I even old enough to say that?!) and sure, most of my posts were banal and pointless, yet they continue to live on my little blog because I don't have the heart to delete them. And now you say they might just not exist one day???

wow – 6 years! that’s impressive! i have to say, if and when i remember, i do save a full version of my posts on a hard drive. if the site were to ever crash and couldn’t be recovered, i know for my own sake i’d still have them to look back on. and who knows, maybe some awesome computer programmer could fit all the pieces back together… what can i say, i’m a worst case scenario kind of gal. 🙂
