my trip to vancouver was perfect. full of spontaneity and fun. pure happiness. my face in this photo proves that.
…and then we walked in the rain.
the adventure to… well, nothing. no expectations.
nighttime had fallen.
all creatures asleep – except for a lone heron.
the fog blanketed the harbour.
and we stood. looking into the unknown.
just standing in the rain.

how fun! i would love to go back to vancouver. the last time i went a was a little[r] lady and hardly remember the trip!
oh i completely know what you mean Megan! there are many a place that i’m sure i talk about “visiting”, but really, it’s just because of pictures. we need a time machine – clearly! 🙂
